On Saturday, July 19, 2025, a master class “Motanka Doll” will be held at the historical and cultural complex “Zaporozhzhia Sich” on Khortytsia Island.

The event begins at 12:00 p.m.

For Ukrainians, the “motanka” doll is an ancient symbol of goodness, well-being, family ties, and hope. It can be a toy or a holiday gift.

This time, craftswoman Olena Paliychuk will reveal the secrets of making a Motanka doll from napkins.
