WE INVITE YOU TO VISIT THE NEW EXHIBITION “THOUSAND-YEAR-OLD TREASURES OF KHORTYTSIA ISLAND”

In 2024, a treasure trove of 46 silver dirham coins minted in the Samanid state between the 9th and 10th centuries was discovered on the northern coast of Khortytsia Island.

According to experts, the find has significant historical and cultural value. This unique treasure can be included in the State Register of National Cultural Heritage.

It is the central attraction of the exhibition.

Along with the other exhibits, it will immerse you in the era of the development of international trade and relations of the largest medieval European state, Kyivan Rus.

The exhibition is located on the territory of the historical and cultural complex “Zaporozhzhia Sich”.

Admission to the exhibition is free with an entrance ticket to the historical and cultural complex “Zaporozhzhia Sich”.

The exhibition is adapted for people with hearing impairments.
