ATTENTION! VACCINATION OF WILD ANIMALS IS CARRIED OUT
Dear citizens! The Khortytsia National Reserve reports that oral vaccination of wild animals against rabies is planned for May on the territory of Khortytsia Island.
The baits containing vaccines will be placed near wild animals’ habitats. These small briquettes, approximately the size of a matchbox, emit a distinctive odor of meat and bone meal. Inside, a jelly-like capsule contains a vaccine against rabies.
This bait is safe for humans, animals, and the environment.
Citizens are requested not to touch the baits with their hands and not to move or relocate them.
