EXHIBITION “TRIDENT: FROM MYSTICAL TO HEROIC”

On February 19, on the occasion of the Day of the State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, the Khortytsia National Reserve and the Public Historical-Ethnographic-Stavrographic Museum of the Cross presented an exhibition of the mini-collection of the historian-stavrographer Viktor Veklenko “Trident: from the mystical to the heroic”.

The exhibition presents unique items: a Gothic silver ring with an ancient insert of a dolphin and a trident from the 5th-6th century from the Crimea, a set of homemade Hutsul jewelry from the early 20th century from the Ivano-Frankivsk region, as well as a carved wall cross with a trident from the Ternopil region (1943).

The exhibition is located in the “House of the Kosh Ataman” of the historical and cultural complex “Zaporozhzhia Sich”.

The exhibition will be open for a month – from February 19 to March 16, 2025.

The Khortytsia National Reserve recommends and invites you to visit the exhibition and our beautiful island of Khortytsia!
