“HEAR WITH THE EYES, SEE WITH THE HEART”

On November 1, 2024, in the historical and cultural complex “Zaporozhzhia Sich” within the project “HEAR WITH THE EYES, SEE WITH THE HEART” developed by specialists of the Khortytsia National Reserve and presented on October 25, the second excursion in Ukrainian sign language for people with hearing impairment took place.

We would like to remind you that a week ago, at the presentation, we eagerly awaited the evaluation of our efforts to ensure barrier-free access for people with hearing impairment by representatives of the Zaporizhzhia regional organisation UTOH (regional branch of the All-Ukrainian Organization of People with hearing disabilities “Ukrainian Society of the Deaf”) and received positive feedback.

Today’s excursion and the gratitude of our guests for the opportunity to receive information about the Zaporizhzhia Sich main objects in sign language completely independently, i.e. without external help, is the highest appreciation for the reserve team.
