Khortytsia Island is a unique natural complex. It is not by chance recognized as one of Ukraine’s seven wonders. The flora of Khortytsia includes more than 1000 species of higher plants, 15% of which are endemic. Various natural zones meet on the island: grassy steppes, oak and coniferous forests, and meadows. The animal life on the island is a unique and interesting topic.
