LET’S CHERISH UKRAINIAN TRADITIONS!

We invite children and adults to the master class “Motanka (rag doll) from napkins”

Rag dolls are found in many world cultures, and the tradition of making (“winding”) a doll appeared about 5 thousand years ago.

For Ukrainians, “Motanka” is an ancient and traditional symbol of goodness and well-being, family ties, and hope. It can be a toy or a holiday gift.

Do you want your children to learn how to make a unique family amulet and about a fascinating Ukrainian tradition? Then come and join our master class!

The master class will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Museum Studios “The City Beyond The Rapids” (in the center of the city) at the address: Zaporizhzhia, Tsentralnyi Boulevard, 3 (“House of shoes”, 2nd floor).

The price is UAH 40.
