Horseshoe is an ancient amulet in Ukrainian folk tradition. In houses, for example, the horseshoe hung above the entrance door to protect the family from negative influences, ensure their well-being, etc. Usually, the amulet was decorated with various inscriptions, natural materials, or decorations to give it more magical power.

According to beliefs, a talisman made by one’s own hands or given by a loved one had an extraordinary magical power since positive mental energy and good intentions were invested in it. Therefore, creating such a charm in a master class is a fascinating creative process and an opportunity to learn about the inner world of our ancestors and their ways of protecting their lives from all kinds of troubles and achieving happiness and joy.
