NEW ADDITIONS TO THE FUNDS OF THE KHORTYTSIA NATIONAL RESERVE

Thanks to Kyiv Customs, the State Customs Service of Ukraine, and the General Prosecutor’s Office, 135 units of artifacts have been added to the Khortytsia National Reserve Museum’s funds.

In particular, the museum received four objects from the Chernyakhiv culture period, 81 objects from the Kyivan Rus period, 36 artifacts from the Scythian era, a Bronze Age adze, a fragment of a flint sickle from the Eneolithic period, and a broadsword blade from the Cossack period (which requires further research).

The reserve specialists have started to process new finds, and we will publish the results on the official pages.

We thank the State Customs Service of Ukraine and the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine for their untiring efforts to preserve the Ukrainian cultural heritage!
