On December 10, 2025, within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation, the Khortytsia National Reserve and Preschool Education Institution No. 226 “Dyvohrai” of the Zaporizhian City Council organized an interesting excursion program for schoolchildren.
The senior researcher at the reserve, a member of the Union of Local Historians of Ukraine and an experienced teacher, Olena Paliychuk, served as a teacher and guide for children into the world of the history of their native land and Cossack traditions.
The preschoolers enjoyed a fascinating excursion and educational program that began in Zaporizhzhia and ended at the historical and cultural complex “Zaporozhian Sich.” The children were invited to participate in an interactive Cossack tradition: holding a “Cossack council” and electing a “headman.” At the end, the children took part in a creative workshop.
The children’s positive emotions and sincere desire to learn are a valid reward for the “Dyvohrai” teachers and Khortytsia National Reserve specialists.
