“Secret Santa for Animals”

“Secret Santa for Animals” is the campaign organized by the NGO “Cats Home. Zaporizhzhia” and supported by the Khortytsia National Reserve to help homeless cats and dogs.

A basket for gifts has been installed at the entrance to the historical and cultural complex “Zaporozhian Sich” for our four-legged friends who have lost their homes.

Pets often get lost due to stress from air raids and explosions. They also migrate from areas affected by hostilities. Some end up in shelters, while others wander to the island of Khortytsia looking for shelter and a place to rest. However, it is extremely difficult for them to find food on the island, especially in the winter.

Let’s take care of these lost pets together!

When you go to Khortytsia Island, bring a holiday gift for them and leave it in the special basket at the Sich.

What can you give your four-legged friends? Dry and wet food, cat litter, special animal toys, bowls, beds, etc.

The event organizers will ensure that all gifts are delivered to the cats and dogs.
