Temporary bomb shelters installed on Khortytsia Island

The Khortytsia National Reserve expresses its gratitude to the Head of the Zaporizhian Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, and the Zaporizhzhia branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross for installing two temporary shelters in the northeastern part of Khortytsia Island. This area is open to visitors.

One temporary shelter is near the historical and cultural complex “Zaporozhian Sich,” and the second is at the “Cossack Circle.”

The shelters are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The reserve’s administration appeals to citizens not litter or cause any other damage while staying in the shelters.

We care about everyone’s safety!
