The Deputy Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine visited the Khortytsia National Reserve.
As part of a working visit to the Zaporizhzhia region, Deputy Minister Halyna Hryhorenko visited the reserve.
The Deputy Minister got acquainted with the activities of the institution and visited the main historical and cultural sites. During the meeting with the reserve’s management, they discussed issues that require state attention and support.
These issues included the preservation of historical heritage and the protection of cultural monuments in wartime, the need to build a bomb shelter on the reserve’s territory, and the development and preservation of Khortytsia. This Island of Khortytsia is a symbol of strength for Ukraine and embodies the spirit of the Zaporizhzhia Cossacks, who were the builders of the nation and our statehood.
