THE MEMORY OF THE FALLEN DEFENDERS OF UKRAINE WAS HONORED ON KHORTYTSIA ISLAND
On October 1, 2024, an event dedicated to the memory of all Fallen Defenders of Ukraine took place near the Tryzub (Trident) Monument on Khortytsia Island.
The head of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, and military, rescue, and law enforcement officers laid flowers at the foot of the memorial sign.
The “Zahysnyk” lyceum cadets and the “Baida” youth movement participants joined the flower-laying ceremony.
At the request of the public organization “Zaporizhzhia City Association of Families of Fallen ATO Soldiers”, on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine and with the support of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, cubes with photos of fallen defenders of Ukraine were temporarily installed near the Trident memorial sign on Khortytsia Island.
