THE SEARCH FOR UNDERWATER TREASURES OF DNIPRO IS RESUMED

All this became possible with the return to work of the leading specialist, Dmitro Kobaliya, a hydroarchaeologist and candidate of historical sciences. Since the first days of Russia’s large-scale armed attack, Dmitro Ruslanovich has been among Ukraine’s defenders. Now, he is preparing to dive again into the depths of the Dnipro River, searching for its secrets and treasures of Ukrainian history.

Winter and early spring are the best times for underwater research. At this time of the year, the clarity of the river water is almost perfect. Several hydro-archaeological surveys have already been carried out, and plans for search operations are being developed.
