XIII Scientific and Practical Conference “History of the Zaporozhian Cossacks in Sites and Museum Practice”

On November 27-28, 2025, the Khortytsia National Reserve, with the participation and support of the Zaporozhian Scientific Society named after Ya. Novytsky held the XIII Scientific and Practical Conference

“History of the Zaporozhian Cossacks in Sites and Museum Practice”.

Over 70 scientists and museum specialists from Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, and Uman participated in the conference online. This year, scientists focused on five sections: 1) History of the Zaporozhian Cossacks: Current State and Directions of Research, 2) History of the Zaporozhian Cossacks in Museum Practice, 3) History of the Khortytsia National Reserve, 4) Monuments of History, Archeology, and Nature, and 5) Round Table on Historical Local History “Novytskyi readings.”

The conference organizers will summarize the results of this work, which will subsequently be available to all fans of Ukrainian history.
