Creating a barrier-free environment on the territory of the “Zaporozhzhia Sich”

Creating a barrier-free environment where everyone can feel comfortable is one of the essential tasks that Khortytsia National Reserve solves in its activities. Since 2021, the Reserve has been developing and implementing projects on the accessibility of historical and cultural sites and museum programs.

Invaluable for implementing our plans is the financial support of benefactors who understand culture’s spiritual and rehabilitative role and sincerely strive to help people with disabilities.

Today, the Reserve has taken another step in overcoming barriers for people who use wheelchairs. With the funds of Ukraine Relief Charity from Bournemouth in partnership with the charitable foundation ZAPORIZHZHIA HEART, the arrangement of a restroom following the requirements of inclusion has been completed on the territory of the historical and cultural complex “Zaporozhzhia Sich”.
