“ THE PHENOMENON OF ZAPOROZHIZHIA COSSACKS”
We invite the citizens of Zaporizhzhia and guests of the city to our most popular and eagerly awaited lecture, “THE PHENOMENON OF ZAPOROZHIZHIA COSSACKS”, on Saturday, August 10.
Why exactly did the Wild Field give birth to the Zaporozhzhia Cossacks? What do Zaporozhzhia Cossacks, Vikings, and samurai have in common? Why did the image of the Cossack Mamai hang in the Ukrainian home? Would Ukraine be without Cossacks, and how did Khortytsia Island save Zaporizhzhia?
Serhiy Dudarenko, one of the leading specialists of the Khortytsia National Reserve, is ready to answer these and other questions.
The lecture will take place on August 10, 2024 (Saturday) at 11:00 a.m. in the Museum Studios “The City Beyond the Rapids” at the address, Zaporizhzhia, Tsentralnyi Boulevard, 3 (2nd floor of the “House of Shoes”).
