Winter holidays on the island Khortytsia: we will surprise you with a fairy tale!

Khortytsia National Reserve, Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration and Zaporizhzhia City Council invite local residents and
guests of Zaporizhzhia to celebrate The St. Nicholas Day, New Year and Christmas together on the glorious island Khortytsia.
Festive events will begin on December 18 at the renewed Cossack Circle. For the first time in winter the space of this location has acquired
such a fabulous look and is adapted for a comfortable family vacation: the New Year’s town and residence of St. Nicholas are being completed installation, a Christmas tree is placed, photo zones are organized, thematic light constructions in the form of fairy-
tale heroes and animals were assembled, which will delight with bright illumination.

Every weekend from 12:00 to 18:00 “Cossack Circle” will be full of festive action: guests will be greeted by fairy-tale characters, a children’s
cinema, theater and choreographic groups of the city and the region, and St. Nicholas will be waiting for everyone. Everyone will be able to
enjoy a variety of delicacies on the organized food court.

Zaporizhzhia City Council took care of convenient transport connections for citizens and guests. The quantity of trolleybuses running to
the island of Khortytsia will be increased. So, according to the Department of Transport and Communications of the City Council, 18, 19, 25, 26 December, 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16 January from 12:00 to 19:00 will be organized additional bus route "Avenue Metallurgov –
Zavodoupravlinya across the Preobrazhensky Bridge with a stop at the “Museum of the Zaporozhian Cossacks” (square “Cossack Circle”).
The bus interval will be 10 minutes.

Also, from the Khortytskyi district from 12:00 to 19:00 the visitors will be able to get to the venue by bus route №49 “Furniture Store – st.
Tovariska” with a change at the stop “Zavodoupravlenya” for buses of the route“ Ave. Metallurgov – Zavodoupravlinya”.
In addition, on the above days the stop “Museum of the Zaporozhian Cossacks” from 12:00 to 19:00 can be reached by trolleybus route №1″.
Profspilok – tourist camp “Khortytsia”, which runs along the route: Sq Profspilok, ave. Soborny, dam Dniproges , street Grebelna, blvd.
Vintera, street Kiyashka, street Tahanska, Arkovyi Bridge, the island Khortytsia and in the opposite direction (schedule here https://ostriv.org/trolejbus-na-horticju).
The interval between trolleybuses will be 15 minutes.
